Background
Born April 13, 1977 near Severna Park, MD, where he grew up. His family was not very well off and education was not a priority, so in order to get out of town Hadrian joined the army infantry on April 13, 1995 and served with C Co, 2/14 Inf in the 10th Mountain for three 4-year tours, ETSing July 15, 2007 as an E-6. During his enlistment, he served in Bosnia (Operation Joint Guard, 1997 and Task Force Eagle, 1998-2000), Afghanistan, and Iraq. He has shrapnel scars on his upper right arm and a couple of small caliber bullet wounds in his left thigh. During his service, he enrolled in and completed college through a combination of correspondence courses, distance learning, and classes at various institutions, culminating in a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from CUNY (City University of New York). Despite enjoying the military life, Hadrian began to realize that many people at retirement age didn't have as much as he wanted to have after 20 years of hard work. So he began a course of computer studies, and when his third term ended he moved to California and started working for The Spaceflight Group in late 2007, where he has been since.
