This is a small "coastal" freighter.

Length 128', beam 26', displacement 700 tons, of which 350 tons cargo max.

Speed 12 kts max from 400 HP triple-expansion steam engine; range 4000 nautical miles at 10 kts.

Crew: 22 (captain, 2 mates, chief engineer, radioman, cook, steward, bosun, 6 engine room crew, 8 sailors).

Up to six passengers might be accomodated, in three double-berth cabins (unless they are willing to sleep in hammocks or other "crew" type accomodation). Normally the sailors and bosun are berthed in the f'o'csle, the engine crew, cook and steward in the aftercastle, and the officers and radioman midships.
