The mysterious origins of this vehicle have made detailed descriptions rare. It was apparently constructed in France about 1930; the actual number constructed is unknown, but probably less than a dozen. The commander's observation cupola can be extended about 20 feet upwards. Searchlights and smoke bomb projectors are fitted on the turret. The track system mounted centrally below the hull is unpowered; it keeps the relatively broad tank from "bottoming out" on rough terrain.

  •  Engines:  two Renault V-12 engines (1000 HP each) connected to electrical generators; electric motors drive rear track sprockets
  •  Top speed:   17 miles per hour
  •  Range:  120 miles
  •  Weight:  200 tons (fully loaded)
  •  Length:  about 42 feet over tracks, 55 feet overall with turret facing forward
  •  Width:  30 feet over hull, 33 feet over outer MG turrets
  •  Armor:  estimated 90mm front, 65mm sides
  •  Armament:  seven MG turrets, three MG in ball mounts (for radio operator and commander), 75mm Mle 1897 cannon in rear hull mount, 105mm Schneider Mle 1913 howitzer in an elevation-only forward hull mount, and auxiliary turret (left front) with a 75mm Mle 1897 gun and a coaxial flamethrower. The main turret contains a 155mm GPF main gun/howitzer, a 240mm breech-loading mortar (180 pound projectile, filled with 90 pounds of explosive), a 90mm anti-tank cannon, and a MG (all coaxial). The machineguns are all water-cooled, rifle-caliber weapons, manufacturer unknown.
  •  Crew:  driver, assistant driver, rear driver/crew chief, radio operator, 2 mechanics/engineers, 7 gunners in MG turrets, gunner and loader at rear gun, gunner and loader in auxiliary turret (loader also reloads the 105mm howitzer), 7 gunners/loaders in main turret, 1 magazine crew, commander:  26 total.
