  • pistols modified at the Colt factory by J.H. FitzGerald as the ultimate "concealed carry" weapon of the time. Detective Special, New Service, M1917, and Police Positive models are modified by FitzGerald to have 2" barrels, double-action only (hammer spurs removed), trigger guards mostly removed, and other modifications for a quick-to-draw, easily-concealed, hard-hitting gun. Only a few hundred are made, and they're not a cataloged item ... mostly to lawmen in the US. Damage and number of shots are as normal for the base model. If you want to kill people in your car, in an elevator, across your desk, or while handcuffed to them:  this is the gun for you.
