Humanity

The Glarrik

The Ur'Tlacta

A large, arboreal race of carnivores. Often used as bodyguards by other races.

Yandarians

A humanoid race of emotionless, ethical beings prized as counselors and planners by many power groups. While humanoid, they are not ara-human. Although more or less mammalian, they are closer to marsupial Terran species.

The Vruth

Nervous and cowardly creatures, somewhat resembling slugs with two boneless arms.

Cerebrons

Not technically a race, these are human or ara-human beings modified by the Mech Centrality to serve as covert agents. Many are sleeper agents who have no idea of their own status as Cerebrons.

T’Chon

The T’Chon are an insectoid race resembling a Terran Praying Mantis as much as anything. Many centuries ago, a great leader rose amongst them, surviving the constant warfare amongst the females of the species, and she somehow got the species into space. This has allowed T’Chon Mistresses to nurture and raise their broods of workers and sires away from others of their species. Though carnivorous, an individual Mistress is quite civilized, and can be a very impressive and imaginative leader of groups of non-T’Chon, especially in a productive endeavor, such as strip-mining a planet. They are highly prized as managers of remote enterprises; there have been some unfortunate incidents when more than one T’Chon Mistress is present in the same home office.

The T’Chon home planet is somewhere in Bavanii space, though most T’Chon in the Principality are at least five generations removed from any contact with it They feel no loyalty to any other T’Chon besides their own broods and the special Maidens they raise to war among themselves and eventually supplant them – or open a branch office.

It is generally believed that a T’Chon Admiral (of which there are at least three known, in two different space navies) could be ordered to destroy the T’Chon homeworld and she would do so without cavil.
