Haphazard additions to the known comestibles of Archaeus and surrounding environs.
Arimite Miners' Pie
Melt one tablespoon of fat (erd butter, gruffan belly drippings, etc.), add one-quarter cup of chopped onions and fry until soft. Stir in two tablespoons of provender flour. Gradually add two cups of durge broth making sure to stir and break open the lumps of flour. Add light crackers (sea biscuits if nothing else is as available), breaking them into small pieces. Let sit one break (4-5 minutes) and serve. Recipe is often altered by adding whatever is available.
Sea biscuits
Use six parts provender flour to one part water. Mix and knead. Roll flat and score into squares. Bake for five to six breaks (20-25 minutes). Allow to completely dry and cool before storing in a well-sealed container. The resulting crackers should be hard as a rock, barely edible, and just as unappealing at the end of a voyage as at the start. Also known as worm castles, iron bread, Kasmiran cakes, and tooth dullers. Should last until the suns burn out.
