Without giving too much away: most mystical martial art talents either depend on, or actually exhaust, a character's chi -- aka their magic points. Normally magic points are equal to the character's POW.

For most talents, their "cost" is just checked against the character's current total magic points, without expending them. Fu powers may be used in combination as long as their total does not exceed the current total magic points.

A smaller number of talents actually exhaust magic points. A character's pool of magic points regenerates over 24 hours or so -- a bit more when resting, a bit less when busy. If you want to get picky, perhaps half over an eight hour period of sleep, and the rest during the rest of the day.
