Aahlea - Dhuna convert to Aa, eaten by Saurans

Aamas - Aamanian knight, eaten by Saurans after helping them clear a Raknid nest

Aarnim - Aamanian aspirant of the 4th Level, preaching to the sinners of Darkling Creek Camp.

Aasurra - Aamanian saint whose body was being taken to the Well of Saints.

Azoryl - a Manra shapechanger, in league with Ceriefseran and the adventurers under his contol

Azradamus - Koresian, Wizard King of Cymril [HHotW p93-97], former professor of the Lyceum Arcanum

Azradamus - malkin, resident at Millhaven Manor. Reputedly immortal.

Baj Modan - Sindarin, Crystal Sept Head of Appraisals and Research in Cymril

Baras - a Mondre Khan, leader of that people, and of the Drukh, under the Tirshata

Benefir Yildoray - Phaedran alchemist, necromancer; last Yildoray to occupy Millhaven. Vanished.

Boker - Arimite farmer/miner looking to get rich quick.  Aldak's father.

Boss - Thrall, head of the Crystal Sept's guards and warriors (Cymril)

Bullet - Thrall (Crystal Sept member, retired, disability), member of Karlat's party.


C

Cabbadon - arch devil, exiled or escaped from Oblivion; self-styled "Lord" and master of Illusion; formerly trapped in part of the Shadowstrike set, now guiding Vidan's group in their missions for Death.

Caramon - Zandiran entrepreneur, owner of the Belle Theater in Darkling Creek Camp.

Cellepheron - Koresian Swordsmage, leader of an adventuring group popular with the Lyceum Arcanum in the early 600s. Retired and running a durge ranch in Durne near the Arim border. Known as an implacable foe and a generous and fierce friend, Cellepheron's name still carries weight in Cymril.

Ceriefseran - an agent of the Cymrillian Wizard-King. Ceriefseran has great authority, or at least leeway, in quietly resolving Matters of National Importance.

Correlia - Koresian wizard, member of Karlat's party. Driven mindless by improper use of the Shadowstrike Set.

Cronus - Callidian, Scholar Emeritus. Friendly, slightly senile volunteer aide to researchers visting the Library at Jalaad.


D

Dando - Zandiran/Saristan mix, male, age 27. Carpenter's mate on the IHoP. Imprisoned for assault & attempted rape, he claims it happened while sleepwalking. Genial, gentle fellow with a lithe build.

Djamar - Djaffir tribesman, greeted Vidan at Murg's caravansery in Maruk.

Dragonlily - Muse artist and adventurer.

Drax - a half-devil, reputedly the son of the devil Zahur. Necromancer-King of Torquar; Drax's student/apprentice was Narishna. Drax is presumably off in the Demonrealms.

Duster - Thrall, member of Cellepheron's Crew.

Farrez - lazy Arimite, Aldak's brother.

Femta - Yassan technomancer, shipwright.  Husband, Pico; son, Atto.

Fenegrynn - Minor Zandiran lord whose estate is a few hours north of Zanth and the site of a major Cult War battle.  Married to Lady Guillotine.

Foamspitter - a leader among the Tirshata's Beastmen allies

Guillotine (pr. Ghee-oh-tin-nay) - Zandiran lady, married to Lord Fenegrynn.

Gothrahim - Torquaran reincarnator; possessed Aamanian Inquisitor and ran secret lab under Aamahd. Encrypted journal has details about an Archaeus-spanning plot by those serving the rebel shaitan, Zahur. Slain by Vedan, Wong, and Khu.

Gorge - ghast that tormented Millhaven. Slain by Keja, Aldak, and Vidan.

Gramphion - a tree spirit in service to Ikon, met in the Venomwood. Referred to as "the Gramphion" in lieu of using its unpronouncable tree name.

Hasama - Bane courtesan, freed from slavery by Aldak.

Helen - diabolic imp servitor of Querence Manghod's

Jaden - Arimite serf, in service to Aldak's family.

Kaffer - elderly Arimite knife-fighter, lone survivor of Count Salak's campaign of 581 to exterminate the Druhk.

Kaybar - Arimite knife-fighter with cautionary tales of blades.  Aldak's uncle.

Karlat - Kang warrior, Crystal Sept, leader of party that found Shadowstrike set. Slain from behind by Joeil.

Kax - Kang Tracker, Crystal Sept, Karlat's cousin. Slain by Mord in ruins near Sindar.

Keja - Dhuna witch, wanted for crimes in most nations she has visited. [Lisa]

Kel - smithy, unofficial leader Millhaven village.

Kenbarr - Arimite captain, inadvertent hero, and a hapless commander of Fort Ceseret

Khadeen - Zandiran duelist [formerly James' PC], joined a fashionable military unit in Zandu

Khamir - Kharakhan wanderer, accomplice of both PC groups, now in the Wilderlands Legion

Kilgor - Kang warrior, swapped news and drinks with PCs at Murg's

Kree - Blue Aeriad family at ranger station in the Webwood.

Lakmila - Arimite, Crystal Sept mercenary killed in Jaspar Mountains by Kax

Lan Motus - Sindarin, collector, member of Karlat's Party. Slain by thieves seeking the Shadowstrike Set.

Lartillio - Phantasian, male, age 36. Sailor on the IHoP. Imprisoned for breaking & entering and possession of stolen goods. His once decent build now going to pot, Lartillio is a would-be thief with self-control problems.

Lashnar - guardian devil, met at entrance to Numenian Royal Vault.

Lore - necrophage underling of Gorge's. Last seen wandering the caves under Millhaven.

Lortha - Xambrian wizard hunter. Had romantic night with Vidan at Lord Fenegrynn's estate.

Lotte - Millhaven teen, conspired with a ghast to murder several villagers. Drowned in the mill-race by Hasama.

Lupia - Numenian priestess of Ikon, resident in Numenian Heaven. Started teaching Aldak his letters.

Merao - a female leader of the Tirshata's Harakin allies

Mo'en - Vidan's foster sister; friendly, attractive, good-hearted and not very bright; her cooking is notorious

Morba - brings Moyon the hermit food and supplies; contemporary of Vidan

Mord - Marukan mercenary, Crystal Sept. Frequent companion and inadvertant adversary to our heroes. Age 19, STR 0, CHA -2.

Morkid - son of Mo'en and Murg, Vidan's nephew.  Named after Murg's father.

Morork -Arimite, senior sergeant at Fort Ceseret and the man you see to get things done.

Mota - Vidan's foster mother; a nice woman who doles out love and guilt and bland, filling food

Moyon - hermit living in foothills west of Maruk; suffers from disfiguring tumors;

Muka - guard at West gate of Maruk; knew Vidan during childhood

Murg - Vidan's brother-in-law, owner of the South gate caravansery, and relentless bully of young Vidan.

Musar - Vidan's foster father; cheap, mournful, and resentful of the burdens Vidan brought his family.

Mutellia Yildoray - wife of Benefir, murdered by him
