Tager Equipment

Page history last edited by Kirk 7 years ago

back to the Index, or to Recon Team R101, or Tager Specific Equipment, or to Annie Tager

Encumbrance levels:

  • up to 22.5 kilograms:  unaffected - move 24 meters per round

  • 23 to 45 kilograms:  loaded - Dodge, Climb, Jump, Swim, and some other movement-related skills are halved; move is 18 meters per round.

  • 46 to 90 kilograms:  burdened - Dodge, Climb, Jump, Sneak, Throw, all melee attacks, all parries, and some others are halved; some skills may not be possible:  Swim without flotation aids, for example; move is 12 meters per round.

  • over 90 kilograms:  overloaded - Martial Arts, Sneak, Throw, all attacks and parries, and others are halved; Swim, Climb, Jump, Dodge, and others are not possible. Move is 3 meters per round.

Carrying her issued field gear and role kit is a load of 34.7 kilograms. That gas mask is a real lump o' weight ... if only your friends weren't so likely to heave tear gas about! The load with issued field gear, role kit, and survival gear is 45.9 kilograms ... very nicely at the top of her "loaded" capacity.

  • A small select-fire submachinegun, first imported to the U.S. in 1984. Range when firing burst is 8 meters; one-handed burst, 5 meters. The skill used is Handgun or Full Auto. The most common fumble is firing off the whole magazine due to shock or surprise. Note that all 9mm Uzi weapons use the same magazines, which are also used by the 9mm versions of the AR-15 rifle. 72 round drum conversions (from Suomi magazines) existed, but are super-rare.

Hair Care Without Shampoo

Measure 2 tbsp baking soda into a 500 mL/1 pint glass jar. Wet hair. Fill jar with water and stir to dissolve baking soda. Pour over head and scrub into hair. Rinse. Measure 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar into same jar. Add water, pour over head, and rinse almost immediately.  (These amounts are for long hair. If yours is short to medium length, use 1 tbsp of baking soda and vinegar in 1 cup of water. If your hair doesn’t seem clean enough once it’s dried, use a bit more soda next time.)   Notes nicked from treehugger.com

Keep in mind that personal effects box (.50 cal ammo box) is 28 centimeters long, 14 centimeters wide, and 17 centimeters deep (6.7 liters volume). Ball 1-pint "regular mouth" jars are 7 cm diameter, 13.2 cm tall. Metric jars might fit better, in fact. Hundreds of Morrow Project trainees have probably discussed jars endlessly ... The shoes, shorts and Mason jars will be the big volume items.

For the metrically incompetent me: 28 cm L x 14 cm W x 17 cm H ~ 11" L x 5.5" W x 6.7" H
