     These are of course very general costs; transportation expenses, seasonal variations, supply and demand will all affect these. Only big stores in the major towns will carry everything on this list.

 

     Availability:  for an ordinary walk-in customer, not known to the seller nor part of their organization, this is the chance of at least one item being available in your size and usable condition -- roll POW x availability or less on 1d100. If you don't care about size, bump the multiplier up by 3 (from x1 to x4, x4 to x7, etc.). Of course, some locations will have better availability, and having good contacts will also help.
