     The main base for Morrow Project Group North; it's located on Manitoulin Island, near New Asail -- "where all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average". Construction began in September of 2140, with quarters for:

 

  • 82 Project members, permanent staff, and guards

  • 50 trainees or transient staff

  • 240 people in platform tents (not in winter, probably)

 

     Total cost about $67,000. First we have substantial, heated log buildings, from red pine (very common around the Great Lakes).
