Orient Express Coach Plans

These should be printed at 2.04" wide, except the fourgon, which should be about 2.25" wide.

The "S" class sleepers were built between 1920 and 1929; the "LX" class (for luxe) are the newest equipment, entering service in 1929. Originally the LX 20 coaches did not have any upper berths, and thus provided only beds for 10 passengers; economic realities forced Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits to add some upper berths.

Murder on the Orient Express involves a train with an S 16 or  LX 16 coach (given the number of passengers in the coach).

Odd numbers are lower berths; even numbers are upper berths.
