• "waterproof" doesn't mean it's made for diving, however. If you fall in the water and quickly emerge, the contents of the bag won't be too wet ...

• the bag has eight external straps for holding dead ducks, etc.

     His gold rubles have random dates from 1902 to 1911. They're each 4.3 grams weight (of which 3.87 grams of gold, so about 1/8th fine ounce of gold), slightly smaller than dimes. Just based on gold content, they're each worth at least $2.50 US.

     Back at the camp is a rucksack and camp gear, spare clothing, food, horse tack, etc. There's no other weaponry or mountaineering gear (this isn't alpine terrain).
