     A large, boxy bag with several external pouches carries all the following items. When fully loaded, the bag weighs about 20 kg, of which more than half are fluids.

 

General Items

Pharmaceuticals

  • 5 vials Adenosine (6mg each) antiarrhythmic

  • 4 ampules Albuterol (3ml unit dose) bronchodilator

  • 2 Ammonia inhalants stimulant

  • 4 Atropine autoinjectors (1mg preload) antidote

  • 1 bottle Aspirin (81mg tablets) analgesic, anti-inflammatory

  • 1 Calcium Chloride (1 gm) antidote, antishock

  • 2 Charcoal, activated (25gm) antidote/adsorbent

  • 1 bottle Compazine (10 tablets) antiemetic/nausea

  • 1 bottle Dexedrine (10 tablets) stimulant

  • 2 bottles Dextrose 25% (50cc) hypoglycemia

  • 2 bottles Dextrose 50% (50cc) hypoglycemia

  • 1 bottle Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) (10 tablets, 50mg) antihistamine

  • 1 Dopamine (400mg/250cc premixed bag) cardiac restart

  • 4 vials Epinephrine 1:10,000 (1cc) heart attacks, allergies, asthma

  • 2 vials Epinephrine 1:1,000 (1cc) heart attacks, allergies, asthma

  • 1 bottle Furosemide (oral Lasix) 100mg potent diuretic, pulmonary edema, renal failure

  • 1 vial Glucagon (1cc) hypoglycemic diabetes reaction, cardiovascular problems

  • 1 bottle Lidocaine 2% 300 mg anaesthetic, antiarrhythmic

  • 1 bottle Lomotil (10 tablets) antidiarrea

  • 4 vials Midazolam (5ml per vial) 20 mg sedative/hypnotic and anti-epileptic, causes anterograde amnesia

    • in combination with fentanyl, there is a high chance of hypoxemia (low oxygen in blood) or apnea (suspension of breathing)

  • 2 ampules Morphine Sulfate (1ml ampule) anaesthetic

  • 1 vial Naloxone (Narcan) 6 mg fast-acting antidote for almost any narcotic

  • 1 bottle nitroglycerin (10 x 0.4 mg/tab) antianginal

  • 8 bags 1000cc Ringer’s lactate fluid replacement

  • 1 packet Sodium Bicarbonate (50mEq/50cc) blood pH management, upset tummy

  • 1 tube sunburn cream

  • 1 tube lip balm
