He looks to be in his mid-40s. Greying dark brown hair worn close cropped in ringlets. de Boors is about 5'9 and has a wiry build. He smokes short nasty cigarillos just about anytime he is awake and not drinking. While professing to be of Dutch nationality, he has shown a remarkable fluency in a number of uncommon languages. His large and powerful smuggling vessel, the Bertilak, is surprisingly fast and has very modern equipment. Most of his crew appear to be vicious Malays and lascars, though the cook is Belgian.
