back to Pierre Boulle
An important French-based armaments firm founded in the early Twenties, Boulle Industries is a major manufacturer of ships, aircraft, artillery, and military electronics, and holds several of the key electronics provisioning contracts for the Maginot Line from the STG (Service Technique du Génie). Their products are also sold to armies and private groups in every corner of the globe.
The company, closely held by its founder Pierre Boulle, has its headquarters in Luxembourg, but essentially all of its industrial activity is in France. They operate large shipyards, aircraft factories, arsenals and foundries, research centres and testing sites.
Associated companies --- such as banks, shipping lines, and subsidiaries in foreign countries -- round out Boulle's operations.
Boulle Industries is quickly closing the gap with such global concerns as Krupp, Vickers, and DuPont.
